CPAs Weekly Tax News/Tips Week of July 23, 2007 - The MA Department of Revenue has developed "Draft" Schedule HC for 2007 tax return that will be used by Massachusetts residents to report proof of health insurance (now required as of July 1, 2007). Week of July 16, 2007 - The IRS has redesigned Form 8857, Request for Innocent Spouse Relief, to make it more efficient and decrease the processing time for a request. Week of July 9, 2007 - The IRS has acknowledged Mazda Motor's certification that its 2008 model-year two- and four-wheel drive Mazda Tribute hybrids qualify for the hybrid credit under Code Sec. 30B.
